How to Make an Old Dress Feel New

You know the feeling when you wear an old favorite and you dress it up with newer accessories? How it suddenly feels fresh again?

That’s this dress for me. I got it in 2018 from Old Navy. It was one of my first clothing purchases after the birth of my daughter. I wore it when we closed on this house, baby showers, and again when I got pregnant with my 2nd daughter and it was so hot I didn’t want to wear pants that summer.

It’s soft & comfortable. I love the print. I love the high square neckline. And even though I haven’t worn it in a while, it still makes me feel good to put it on. 

That’s why it doesn’t really matter if something is old or “out of style”.  If you love it, it’s always going to feel like home.
